Green, who according to eyewitnesses was the more violent of the two, is expected to receive punishment from the team.

In the United States, they claim that the punishment may be suspension from activity along with a monetary fine, although the suspension is not expected to be prolonged, and should not prevent Green from starting the regular season, which will start in less than two weeks.

According to The Athletic, there is ongoing tension between Green and Paul, which intensified with the opening of training camp this summer.

The two often get into verbal arguments in recent weeks, but this time a senior official in the Warriors claims that "they crossed the line in a big way."

Also, there are those in Golden State who are convinced that Green is simply trying to act as a leader, trying to bring Paul down after his breakout season.

Warriors players testified that "Paul's demeanor has changed since the start of practice," possibly due to his new status.

At the same time, they also understand that the incident with Draymond "was not wanted".

Warriors player Andre Iguodala came to Paul's defense, tweeting in response to reports of his "change in behavior": "Stop talking like crazy about JP (Jordan Paul)...he's a kid with great character, enough with all this bullshit, straight up from your 'sources'".

Then he added: "And don't mess with Draymond Green either, who is also like family to me."
