The mythical hall that received new stands straight from Italy • The magic cube that upgraded the Drive In • And the rooms in Gilboa that are worth more than any B&B • About the changes made to the teams' halls in the Premier League for the upcoming season

Kfar Blum, Hapoel Upper Galilee

on the one hand, it is a mythological hall that there is no Israeli basketball fan who is not moved by it.

But it is also one of the old-fashioned ones, and quite a few players complain about the small distance between the parquet and the stands and benches.

Therefore, instead of the famous and old folding grandstand - which was not approved for the Premier League for safety reasons - in the Galilee this year they purchased a new grandstand, which came especially from Italy and was assembled on the spot.

The club hopes that he will receive a green light from the administration by the start of the current season, which will allow more appointments to be sold.

The team benches and secretaries will move to the other side of the hall and will be located under the new stand, and in their place will be placed 40 new VIP chairs on the parquet.

In total, 360 seats will be added to the existing 1000 seats.

Shlomo Group Hall, Hapoel Tel Aviv The

state-of-the-art hall in the north of the city is expected to be full this year at Hapoel Tel Aviv games.

Although it was inaugurated only in 2014 and it is considered one of the high-quality halls in the league, this year, in preparation for the start of the season, it was upgraded with an innovative cube of screens and results on the roof of the hall, and VIP chairs on the parquet.

The northern team's hall was inaugurated in 2008 and is considered one of the newest in the league, but this season it underwent significant upgrades.

In Gilboa, they built a new dressing room for the host team, renovated the judges' room and the gym.

Also, a new medical clinic was built within the hall, new air conditioners and upgraded internet infrastructure were installed.

The parquet was also replaced.

The Yuval Hall, Bnei Herzliya

The hall at the Yuval High School, which serves as the home field of the runner-up and cup holder, was at the center of a storm last season, when it was unable to accommodate the potential amount of fans in the final series against Hapoel Holon.

For the upcoming season, Bnei Herzliya renovated the home team's locker room, and are working on building a new treatment room inside the hall.

However, its capacity remained only 1,250 seats, and the club hopes that soon a new hall will be built in the city.

Arena Peace, Hapoel Jerusalem

In light of complaints from the audience in recent years, the arena in Jerusalem made changes and adjustments to the buffets this year, and during the season a special expert is expected to arrive who will make changes to the acoustics in the hall, as there is quite a bit of criticism.

Also, in March of this year, a plan by the Jerusalem Municipality to upgrade the Teddy Stadium and Arena was approved, in the amount of NIS 200 million.

In the arena, there is an infrastructure for building a training hall under the hall area, and the club would be very happy to build another field for training, instead of wandering to the salt marsh often.

During the season, additional changes are planned, including the replacement of the screen cube in the ceiling of the hall, as well as the restoration and repainting of the perimeter concrete strip of the hall.

The Municipal Sports Hall, Municipal Kiryat Ata

The team that returned to the Premier League after an absence of 13 years boasts a new home hall built in 2011, and located on David Ramez Street in the city.

It has 1,000 seats, and for the upcoming season, the club replaced the parquet and purchased a new screen system, which is expected to arrive in Israel soon.

Lev Mosheva, Nes Ziona City

The hall located in the "Heart of the Mosheva" high school has 1,250 seats.

He is one of the smallest in the league, and receives quite a bit of criticism for his adaptation to the level of the Premier League.

Towards the end of the previous season, modern LED lighting was installed in the hall that improves the viewing experience, and last summer the parquet was replaced, for the first time in years, and the teams' benches were also upgraded.
