The moment of truth has arrived.
After a long and intriguing summer in which it changed its face, tonight (21:05) Maccabi Tel Aviv will play its first game as part of the Euroleague, when it will host Zalgiris Kovna in the Menorah Hall.
In the focus, of course, is coach Oded Ketch, who is returning to Yad Eliyahu's lines after 14 years.
Lots of new faces will make their debut in the yellow uniform on the parquet in Menorah, the most prominent of which are of course: Wade Baldwin, Lorenzo Brown, Darren Hilliard and Alex Poithers.
In the Israeli section, Guy Panini returned home this summer after years, and Rafi Manko will make his debut in the Euroleague.
The two players who will not dress are Jake Cohen and Petah Ziv, as well as the young Tomer Agmon who is part of the team's staff.
Keenan Evans, one of the prominent names who left Maccabi Tel Aviv last summer, plays for Zalgiris.
