Draymond Green has been at the center of the headlines in the US for the past two days following the "knockout" he sent to his teammate Jordan Paul during one of Golden State's practices. Bob Myers, the GM of the champion, made it clear that the matter will be handled within the team and that for now Green will not participate in the practices.
But today (Friday) TMZ revealed a video in which the confrontation between the two was recorded where at the climax of the confrontation you can see Green sending a brutal punch to his friend's face, when the rest of the team called out to separate the hawks.

What punishment will he receive for this punch?

In the United States they claim that the punishment may be a suspension from activity along with a monetary fine, although now that the video has been exposed, Green is expected to receive a long suspension that will likely prevent him from starting the season with his team.
According to The Athletic, there is ongoing tension between Green and Paul, which intensified with the opening of training camp this summer.
The two often get into verbal arguments in recent weeks, but this time a senior official in the Warriors claims that "they crossed the line in a big way."
