It's a duel between David and Goliath: bottom of the district league, BC Attaching, makes a guest appearance at the front runners, SpVgg Feldmoching.

The coach takes it with humor.

Attaching

– "The first plays against the last - that says it all," says Enes Mehmedovic, the coach of BC Attaching, and laughs.

Mehmedovic hasn't lost his sense of humor, even though his team is in a sporting crisis and slipped to the bottom of the table last weekend.

On Sunday (1.30 p.m.) the newcomer will be in action at the leader SpVgg Feldmoching.

Without pressure.

"We have nothing to lose," emphasizes Mehmedovic.

SV Dornach has done it

The 41-year-old coach knows that his team only has a chance with a performance close to their top level - and also has to hope for a weak day from the opponent.

"It's a David versus Goliath game," says Mehmedovic.

He classifies the Feldmochinger as “technically outstanding”.

Only SV Dornach has managed to beat Bayern Munich this season: Last weekend, SVD drew level with Spielvereinigung with a 4-2 win.

“We had an observer there.

Feldmoching had 70 percent possession.

Dornach wasn't the better team, but they took advantage of their chances," says Mehmedovic.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Little things are often missing when BC attaching

His team lost 2-1 to Manching last matchday.

Despite a performance that would have allowed a counter.

But as so often this season, little things were missing in BC Attaching.

The jump from the district to the district league is just big.

The Attachingers won't give up - why should they?

With Mathias Staudigl and Patrick Huljina, two important players are in question again, but if the squad is complete, the results necessary for staying up in the league are possible.

“We will do our best again in Feldmoching.

And then we'll see," says coach Mehmedovic.

And maybe this time luck will be on the side of the BCA.
