The CNOSF is currently experiencing an unprecedented crisis.
After months of conflict with its secretary general, Didier Séminet, landed less than a month ago, Brigitte Henriques, a week later, filed a complaint for what she denounces as acts of "psychological violence".
A particularly complex situation for the sports movement just two years from the Olympic Games in Paris.
The tensions are exacerbated and the questions multiple.
While many are wondering about the future of Brigitte Henriques at the head of the institution, when she is more than weakened, she has decided to "take a rest".
October 12th promises to be hot
After two days of sick leave this week, she, in a letter sent to her administrators that we were able to consult, announced that she wanted to “preserve her health and protect herself”.
In this sense, the president of the CNOSF has decided to "delegate the operational part of her missions" to four leaders: Jean-Pierre Siutat (president of the French basketball federation and vice-president of the CNOSF), Michel Caillot (treasurer), Astrid Guyart (Deputy General Secretary) and Sébastien Poirier (Vice-President of the CNOSF and President of the Motorcycling Federation).
Despite everything, it will retain some of its prerogatives, in particular within the framework of the next Board of Directors of great importance which will be held on October 12.
On this occasion, Brigitte Henriques will face some of her opponents.
A meeting that should set the tone for the coming weeks and especially the trend for the next deadlines.
Until then, she calls on the entire CNOSF "to recreate a climate of serenity and calm things down".
A very complex mission.
