The German Bundesliga has had a remarkable European Cup week.
However, a surprising nation joins the top divisions in UEFA's five-year ranking.
Nyon/Munich - With five wins in eight games, Germany has a remarkable record in the past.
In the three UEFA competitions, only Bayer Leverkusen and 1. FC Köln lost, while FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund, among others, clinched valuable victories, which also brought the Bundesliga valuable points in the five-year ranking.
Curious UEFA ranking: Bundesliga in fourth place - behind Liechtenstein
While the Bundesliga is still third in the overall ranking behind England and Spain, the DFL clubs are only in fourth place in the 2022/2023 season.

Since this is the only representative of the country, the sporting successes weigh heavily in the ranking of the European Football Association - and Liechtenstein is happy about the current third place in the UEFA ranking.
Of course, this is only a snapshot, as expected, the ranking list will shift as the season progresses.
