The 9th round in the Bundesliga opened this evening (Friday) with a single game in which Monas Davor's team, Hoffenheim, hosted the newcomer Werder Bremen, who won 1:2.
The guest got on the scoreboard first with a goal by Marvin Dukas in the 18th minute, but 14 minutes later Davor's moment arrived.
The striker received an excellent ball from Dennis Geiger and did not get confused in front of the opponent's goalkeeper to determine the result of the half, 1:1.
After the goal, Davor ran towards the fans' stand in a gesture of silence.

Unfortunately for Davor, who completed 90 minutes, the one who was silenced at the end was his team, which received a penalty in the 87th minute from the legs of Niklas Flokrog.
The referee did add 7 minutes to the game, but Hoffenheim remained at the end without points.
