Dortmund – It's served: The first classic of the season is coming up.

The whole of football Germany is watching the top Bundesliga game between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday evening.

Both top German teams are back in form in time for the showdown.

Bayern ended their earnings crisis with two wins against Leverkusen (4-0) and Pilsen (5-0), while Dortmund found themselves back on track in Seville (4-1).

Kimmich and Thomas Müller were able to be tested on Friday after their corona infections.

The decision ultimately lies with coach Julian Nagelsmann, the ambitious Kimmich will burn for the duel with Dortmund despite little training.

Leon Goretzka, to whom Nagelsmann gave a starting eleven guarantee and the reliable Marcel Sabitzer could form the double six without any problems in the Bayern line-up, then Kimmich would first sit on the bench.

It will be interesting to see what Nagelsmann conjures up against BVB.

In addition to Müller, Bouna Sarr (knee surgery) and Lucas Hernández (torn muscle bundle in the left adductor area), who have been injured for a longer period of time, are also absent.

Kingsley Coman, on the other hand, has reported himself fit again after tearing his muscle fiber and will be in the squad - as a noble joker and guarantee of victory.

"He's not a candidate from the start, but one who can be substituted on," said Nagelsmann.

Coman could "play 30, 40 minutes".

The Frenchman has won all of his nine duels against Dortmund in the Bundesliga so far – a record.

Dortmund cannot draw on the full either, BVB fears for four regular players.

Captain Marco Reus is further out alongside Mahmoud Dahoud, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Mateu Morey and Sébastien Haller, who are all longer absent.

It was questionable whether regular keeper Gregor Kobel would be able to return to goal after back problems.

Mats Hummels, Marius Wolf and Giovanni Reyna were also injured recently, but will be in the squad.

BVB vs Bayern Munich: Bellingham and Musiala in the spotlight

The classic between Dortmund and Bayern always writes big and strange stories.

Above all, the two baller boys and best buddies Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala are in focus this time.

Bellingham was linked with a move to Bayern during the week, while Musiala was linked with a move to Liverpool.

For ex-Bayern captain Lothar Matthäus, the two teenagers are even future Ballon d'Or candidates.
