Jordan Paul in Golden State practice before the confrontation with Draymond Green (from Twitter)
The Draymond Green and Jordan Paul storm is not off the agenda in the NBA, and tonight (Saturday) it was the veteran forward's turn to address the event.
Remember, during Golden State practice this week, Green attacked Paul and sent him a resounding punch.
Later, documentation from the case was also published, which only stirred up the spirits in California.
Green held a press conference in which he expressed deep regret for the incident, and even announced that in the coming days he will be apart from the team, only ten days before the start of the Warriors' season: "I will step aside for a few days, I don't know how many, I will just take time for myself and let the team begin to recover. There aren't many things in life that I regret - that's what I regret. I look forward to playing on opening night, will I play? That's another story."
Will there be a restoration of relations?

"I failed as a leader and as a person," Green declared before addressing the restoration of relations with the young guard: "Rebuilding relations is my task, if he even wants to restore them. It's his decision and I'll have to accept what he decides. I don't know how he feels, I love him And my love for him hasn't changed. As a human being there are things I need to fix. That day I was in a very bad place in terms of the struggles I have in my personal life."
Paul is now entering his fourth season in the league, so he is eligible for a contract extension that will take effect next summer.
At the same time, the Warriors are currently hesitating to give Green another maximum contract, but Green denied that his act was due to tensions due to the contract issues.
