Summary: Sassuolo - Inter 2:1 (Sport1)
The ninth round of the Italian league opened tonight (Saturday) with Inter, who returned to winning ways in the local framework as well thanks to a 2:1 away win over Sassuolo.
After that we got the big battle at San Siro, where Milan defeated the disappointing Juventus 0:2, three days before the old lady will meet Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League.

Milan - Juventus 0:2
Who now remembers the consecutive victories over Maccabi Haifa and Bologna?
The pressure on Massimiliano Allegri is expected to increase again, three days before the next meeting against the Israeli champion, as the gap with the mythical rival has grown to seven points, while the gap of the old lady from the top may grow to ten points, probably on the way to another season without a championship.
Pikayo Tomori scored first (45) after a mix-up in the area, Brahim Dias doubled after a loss by Arkadiusz Milik, and a wonderful sprint across half the field (54).
The Rossoneri are recovering from the painful 3:0 they suffered from Chelsea, recording a fourth consecutive game without a win against Juve and temporarily equaling the first Napoli and Atalanta.
Stefano Pioli, for his part, with a debut victory over Allegri - and what a great victory.

Sassuolo - Inter 2:1
After the important victory over Barcelona and just before the visit to the Camp Nou, Inter returned to winning ways in the league and more at the expense of a team that usually gives them trouble.
Sassuolo won 2-0 at the San Siro last season, but this time they met a sharp Edin Dzeko determined to score his 100th Serie A goal. The veteran Bosnian not only became the third oldest player to reach this milestone (at 36 years and 205 days, after Goran Pandev and Sergio Pelisier who were over 37 years old when they reached 100 goals) thanks to Denzel Dumfries' preparatory strike in the 44th minute, but also completed a brace and decided the game with a strike in the 75th minute after a wonderful lift by the substitute Narich Mkhitaryan.
Davide Fratzi temporarily equalized for the host with a goal from the air in the 60th minute, but did not prevent Inter from passing them in the table.

Bologna - Sampdoria (21:45, Sport1)
Two of the most disappointing teams to start the season are deep at the bottom, with Sampdoria sinking to last place and still winless this season in the first eight games.
The host is indeed above the red line, but in 17th place and with a single 1:2 victory over Fiorentina, she herself is fairly complicated.
The guests have not beaten Bologna since the 2018/19 season and in an away game in a city in northern Italy since the 2003/4 season!
She will be forced to try to rise again this season on the difficult court precisely without Harry Winks who came from Tottenham and without Manuel de Luca.
