Exploit of Aubervilliers and invasion of ground in Argenteuil… It was your football weekend in Île-de-France

2022-10-09T17:46:30.411Z

In the Paris region, it's not just PSG in Ligue 1 and Paris FC in Ligue 2. There are also some great matches in the divisions

Like last season, Le Parisien invites you to analyze and decipher the results of Ile-de-France clubs.

The weekend was almost entirely devoted to the 5th round of the Coupe de France with the entries in the running of the three Ile-de-France teams of National, Red Star, Versailles and Paris 13 Atletico.

The women's D1 was taking a break due to international matches.

The match of the weekend: Créteil qualified on penalties at Racing

The poster for the 5th round of the Coupe de France between Racing and Créteil, both 3rd in their respective groups in National 2 returned to the visitors.

If Créteil had opened the scoring by Daouda Gueye (18th), Racing had gone ahead on goals from Arnold Vula (29th) and Venuste Baboula (42nd).

But Baouia managed to equalize (2-2, 70th).

In the 89th minute, Racing scored.

But after long palaver and having consulted his assistant, the referee canceled the goal for offside.

During the penalty shootout, Erwan Regulus stopped two Racing attempts, giving Créteil qualification.

The perf: Auber wins at the Lusitanos

Aubervilliers, which is making a good start to the season in N3 (co-leader), achieved the feat of this 5th round of the Coupe de France by winning against the Lusitanos Saint-Maur.

If Josué Ahoué had opened the scoring (9th) for the Lusitanos, Masiré Konate equalized for Auber (55th).

The penalty shootout was unbreathable but Rachid Youcef's team ended up winning (7-6).

A great performance for Auber.

Aubervilliers achieved the feat and qualified on penalties 7-6 after having held the Lusitanos in check (1-1).

Kudos to them.

The other big performance of the weekend is to be credited to VGA Saint-Maur (R2) which eliminated (3-1) Le Mée (N3), which therefore evolves two divisions above.

This 5th round was full of surprises since four other teams also beat hierarchically superior teams: Claye-Souilly (R1) winner in Viry (N3), Villejuif (R1) who won (4-3) in Montrouge (N3 ), Grigny (R2) who wins (2-1) at Torcy (R1) and Marcoussis-Nozay-La Ville du Bois (D1) scorer (4-2) from FC Issy (R3).

The incident: game stopped for Versailles at Argenteuil

Versailles, semi-finalist of the event last season, had an eventful reunion with the Coupe de France this Sunday at RC Argenteuil (R2).

After taking an entry penalty (9th), Versailles had regained the lead thanks to goals from Mondy Prunier (22nd, 45th) and Yohan Brun (65th).

But after throwing projectiles on the field, the referee had stopped the match for the first time.

When play resumed, firecrackers were thrown at goalkeeper Sébastien Renot and then the pitch was invaded.

The referee decided to stop the match definitively in the 85th minute.

Versailles, which was leading 3-1 at the time, will therefore benefit from winning the match on green carpet.

On Saturday, the Red Star only made the difference in the second half (3-0) at Saint-Leu (R1) with goals from Benali (53rd), Kemo Cissé (57th) and Fall (83 sp).

Adama Sidibé scored a decisive double (2-0) for Paris 13 Atletico at FC Mantois (R1).

The three teams play again on Wednesday (7:30 p.m.) for the 9th day of the National Championship.

The Red Star receives Bourg-en-Bresse, Versailles, Le Mans and Paris 13 Atletico, Le Puy.
