According to Dutch media, Lyon coach Peter Bosz has been sacked. OL must formalize the name of their successor, which, according to L'Équipe, should be Laurent Blanc.

Too much underperformance.

By conceding the draw Friday evening at home against Toulouse (1-1), Peter Bosz was sacked by the leaders of OL, as revealed this Sunday morning ESPN Netherlands.

He was received late Saturday afternoon by President Jean-Michel Aulas and Football Director Vincent Ponsot.

His contract, which therefore ended, would run until June 2023. On a series of four defeats and a draw in Ligue 1, the Dutch coach was deemed unable to straighten out a team whose players would have dropped him.

Who will succeed him?

According to L'Équipe, it should be… Laurent Blanc.

That Jean-Michel Aulas has been trying to attract for years.

Without a club since his dismissal from Al-Raayan (Qatar) on February 13, the former Paris-Saint-Germain coach should arrive in Lyon this week, accompanied by his assistant Frank Passi and physical trainer Philippe Lambert, still according to the sports daily.

The 1998 world champion (56), contacted eight days ago the day after the defeat at Lens (0-1), would then sign his contract to become OL's new coach.
