It is common knowledge that Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy at Manchester United and his departure from the Premier League club in January seems more than likely.
Quite a few teams were linked to the Portuguese star last summer, but in the end he stayed with the Red Devils.
Now, after several performances in which he came off the bench, rumors are once again emerging about possible destinations for Cristiano.
Spanish journalist Pedro Almeida published today (Sunday) that David Beckham was recently in direct contact with Ronaldo, to try to convince him to join MLS with an emphasis on his team, Inter Miami, in 2023.

One of the reasons will be the departure of Gonzalo Higuain, who is expected to leave Inter Miami and Cristiano could be the ideal replacement.
Beckham already has his eye on Leo Messi, but the Argentine has a chance to return to Barcelona in the summer which will make that move difficult.
Almeida noted that although negotiations have taken place, an agreement between Beckham, the MLS club and Ronaldo's associates is far from over, as the Portuguese wants to stay in Europe.
