In terms of personnel, FC Bayern is currently having to accept a lot of bad news - at least there is good news from Thomas Müller.
Munich – It's probably the worst when you can only watch and not intervene yourself: Thomas Müller could only watch FC Bayern's curious 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund from home.
As he posted on Instagram, he sat in front of the TV with his dog Murmel.
Both were sure at half-time, he writes, that Munich will win the game.
Because it was 2-0 for the record champions in the Bundesliga classic.
But what followed was "very disappointing" for the Bayern fans - many would certainly share this assessment of Müller.
The Dortmund put down a rapid catch-up race.
In the 74th minute, Moukoko scored the 1:2.
Shortly before the end of the game, Kingsley Coman was sent off with a red card, leaving Bayern outnumbered.
Finally, in the very last second of added time, it was 2:2.
The Dortmund fans cheered it like a victory.
Müller hopes for a comeback in the match against Pilsen
Müller was sober about the course of the game: "We have to learn a lot from this type of game!" After his corona illness, he still showed symptoms of a cold on Friday and therefore could not go to Dortmund.
But now he himself reported in his Instagram stories that he is taking part in training again.
His club also announced Müller's comeback on its website.
The Weilheimer hopes to be back in the starting XI in the match against Viktoria Pilsen on Wednesday.
Oliver Kahn speaks of "amazing performance"
Meanwhile, it's still rumbling at FC Bayern.
CEO Oliver Kahn said to the reporters in the interview zone after the match: "It's an amazing achievement how we manage to lose our well-deserved wages again and again.
I have to think back a long time [...] to a season [...] where we have a lot of chances to score and don't score or - like today - don't close the sack.
We have to get going quickly.”
"Get in the slippers" - that's going to be even harder now, because the ranks of the Bayern squad have been severely thinned out: Alphonso Davies sustained a contused skull in the game against BVB, Matthijs de Ligt has problems in the adductor area.
Finally, some bad news – Jamal Musiala, who is in good form, has contracted Corona.
At the moment, Bayern only has Müller's advice to keep it like Real Madrid: Don't lose faith in yourself, even if things don't go well.
It's good that at least Thomas Müller and Joshua Kimmich are back after their corona disease.
