French international leader Thomas Heurtel, silver medalist at the Euro in Germany last month, on Monday scolded people accusing him of signing at the Zenith Saint Petersburg in Russia a few days after the continental competition.
He has already participated in two league games against Kazan (4 points, 7 assists) then Perm (2 points, 11 assists).
Despite the war between Ukraine and the country led by Vladimir Putin, Thomas Heurtel responded on Instagram to the criticisms that accompanied his decision, synonymous with exclusion from the France team.
The leader violated a charter signed with the Federation where he undertook not to join a Russian or Belarusian club.

"Just FYI, to anyone who messages or writes comments criticizing me for my decision to come to Russia or any decision in general, please know that I don't give a fuck at all," wrote the 33-year-old basketball player.
So don't be silly and stop wasting your time.

By signing up with the Zénith, the ex-ASVEL and Real Madrid player therefore probably said goodbye to a place with the Blues for the 2023 World Cup or even for the Paris Olympics in 2024.
