Is Julian Nagelsmann a “trainer talent?
The coach reacted with little amusement to this description and grumbled about the Bayern bosses.
Now Karl-Heinz Rummenigge reports.
Dortmund - Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann reacted a little thin-skinned to the term "trainer talent".
When Sky moderator Sebastian Hellmann commented that ex-Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge called him that, Nagelsmann said: "Everyone says that, not just Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
(...) In my opinion too many say it anyway.”

The coach then added defiantly: "I'm also a talented trainer, so I'm proud of it.
I do my best every day, I know that.
Everything else should be evaluated by others.”
The mood of the 35-year-old was not the best anyway after FC Bayern's bitter 2-2 draw at Borussia Dortmund with the goal conceded in the last second.
Rummenigge, however, could not understand the excitement about his statement.
"That was praise and no criticism at all," said the 67-year-old on Sunday on TV station Bild.
"I'm a little surprised that it's being put in a negative context.
Talent means nothing other than that someone has great potential.
You can see this great potential in the handwriting of the team.”

That was the context
Rummenigge's "Trainer-Talent" statements came a week ago (ie on Saturday, October 1st) on Bayern 1's "Heute im Stadion" show. The context is that Rummenigge said: "I think he's a great coaching talent.
But you shouldn't forget that he's a very young coach." It was also said: "If you're coaching a caliber like Bayern Munich, then it's not that easy," added Rummenigge on October 1st.
According to the 67-year-old, "you will also have to give and give him the time".
Did Nagelsmann know the connection when he reacted so irritated after the Dortmund game?
Or was the shock of the last-minute compensation just too bad for him?
Oliver Kahn also had a neck in Dortmund.
