Hapoel Holon achieved a dramatic victory this evening (Tuesday) at the Toto Hall 83:88 over the Belgian Ostend, in the second match of the group stage of the Champions League.
After a tight first half that ended in a tie, Guy Goodes' team fell behind in the third quarter, but the rise at the right moment of Joe Ragland who finished a great game with 31 points, 14 assists and 3 rebounds gave the Purples a very important victory.
Center Marvin Jones, again impressed when he finished with 14 points, ten rebounds and scored an important basket in the last minute.
Chris Johnson contributed 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
The champion registers a third victory in a row, after also beating Hapoel Jerusalem in the opening round of the Premier League, and Legia Warsaw in overtime in the first game in the European framework.
