The storm of Kanye West's anti-Semitic statements refuses to stop, and now it also spills over into the realms of sports.
LeBron James, the star of the Los Angeles Lakers and the producers of his show "The Shop" announced tonight (Wednesday) that they will not broadcast the interview with the rapper following what has happened in recent weeks.
In an official statement, producer Maverick Carter said they reached out to the rapper and voiced concerns about his participation on the show: "After speaking with Kanye the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of having a respectful discussion and was willing to address all of his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used our show to further spread my words Hate and stereotypes are dangerous."

In the end, Carter did not apologize to West for not airing the interview: "I take full responsibility for the fact that Kanye wanted to take the interview in a different direction, and apologize to our guests and staff. According to Shatana there will never be an audience."
James himself did not come to the recording of the interview, and what could have been the reason are the concerns about Kanye's mental state during the last week in particular.
According to people present on the set, the rapper continued his words against Jews.
