Jordan Paul in Golden State practice before the confrontation with Draymond Green (from Twitter)
Draymond Green was at the center of a big storm in the NBA since he punched Jordan Paul in one of Golden State's practices.
In the USA they talked about a very long suspension for the player, who in the first reference to the case admitted that he "failed as a leader" and announced that he would stay apart from the team until his anger passed.
However, this morning (Wednesday) Steve Kerr first addressed this case and said that Green will join the team's training already on Thursday. Green will be fined for an undisclosed amount, but was not suspended for even one game and will open the season with Golden State, despite his very strained relationship with Paul, who has not spoken to him since the shameful incident. Kerr also added that Green will even play in the final preseason game on Friday and as mentioned will open the season with the champion .

As you remember, last Thursday Green apologized to the team and Paul for the punch, before leaving for his home.
General manager Bob Myers said he didn't think Green would miss any games and Kerr said Green would return to practice on Saturday, but all of this was before the video was leaked that clearly shows Green's deadly and violent punch.
