The ski jumping season has only just begun and the young people from Auerbach are already in good form.

Auerbach/Wartenberg – For the first time since the SC Auerbach eagles resumed training after the holidays, the young SCA ski jumping team took part in the mini hill tournament in Oberaudorf, the Sachspokal competition as part of the Halton Mini Tournament.

More than 50 children and young people from the Inngau and Chiemgau ski associations took part in the traditional competition in Oberaudorf.

The Auerbachers were represented by five athletes from the age groups (AG) students 8 to 14, with some of them switching to the next larger hill as part of this competition.

Coach Olli Baumgartner was generally satisfied with the performance of his protégés, even a victory for Auerbach in a performance group jumped out of it in the truest sense of the word.

The change from the 18 m to the 36 m hill was a big change for some athletes, although the placements still played a minor role for them.

With Maximilian Steer, another Auerbacher has been able to win AG 11 for a long time with excellent distances of two times 17.5 m and a very good overall mark of 204.6.

Arne Schleicher finished eleventh in AG 10 on the 35 m hill with 22.5 m and 23.0 m with an overall score of 130.8.

Moritz Schwarzbözl had a harder time on this hill, who only recently switched to this hill size.

He will certainly soon get used to the change, since he is training on a 40 hill in Auerbach.

He was twelfth with two times 19.0 m.

Lucas Rieß managed two decent jumps on the 35 hill with 29.0 and 27.5 m in AG 14.

Anna Steer, who has only just started jumping, achieved 4.0 and 3.5 m on the 9 m hill in AG 8.

Auerbach's trainers are confident that their ski jumpers will show further progress until October 22nd, when the mini ski jumping tournament in Auerbach will take place.
