Julian Nagelsmann complains about the lack of backing from the Bayern bosses.

The trainer even announces an early farewell.

Munich – Julian Nagelsmann has been fighting on several fronts since arriving just over a year ago.

The coach of FC Bayern Munich not only has to explain the earnings crisis these days - only one Bundesliga win from the last six games - but also moderates the coaching talent discussion about his person.

"In my opinion, too many say it," Nagelsmann mocked on Saturday evening after the bitter 2: 2 in the classic against Dortmund in the direction of the executive floor.

The trainer reacted irritably to the statements made by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the ex-Bayern boss had previously described him as a talented trainer.

Worse still: The current board of directors around Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic had also stated that the 35-year-old still had to learn.

"In general there is nothing to be said against talent, our players are all talented too.

In the end, it is always the task of everyone to protect the club's employees, even in a phase when things are not going well, to assess whether they are giving their all.

I do that with the players and hopefully the club will do that with me," Nagelsmann said in a DAZN interview.

FC Bayern: Nagelsmann takes on bosses

Nagelsmann sees his own authority undermined by the bosses' statements.

Before the Champions League game in Pilsen, the coach speaks plain language and sends an unmistakable message to his superiors.

All employees should be supported “with statements that there is no point of attack.

At some point there may come a point when I will no longer be supported.

But then it's better to go our separate ways," explained Nagelsmann.

Separate ways?

"I hope that doesn't happen at some point," Nagelsmann said.

What the trainer says: He demands more backing from the bosses, you have to try to find a line.

At Bayern, every statement about the coach is eyed, explained Nagelsmann.

"You invite one or the other expert to make a statement, which of course is also realized in the team, which does not necessarily strengthen my position.

The players are also very critical of these things because they have a different picture.

They assume that I have talent, but they also know that I'm not completely blind and can teach them things."

Nagelsmann could not resist a small tip in the direction of Rummenigge, who had often reprimanded the young coach in the past and recently teased him with a Klopp comparison.

"I believe that everyone who has worked for Bayern should have in mind to protect every employee as long as possible.

We can talk about everything internally,” said the FCB coach.

Despite his young age, Nagelsmann is no longer an apprentice or trainee.

Born in Landsberg, he led two teams with Hoffenheim and Leipzig into the Champions League before moving to Bayern Munich, and he even reached the semi-finals with the Bulls.

The coaching talent calls annoy Nagelsmann anyway: "In the end it doesn't strengthen my position, that's self-explanatory."

He has not yet discussed this topic with Kahn and Salihamidzic due to the tight schedule.

"We'll definitely have the opportunity.

I also know that everyone who says that doesn't mean it in a bad way, but actually means it in a good way.

I don't blame anyone.

Everyone is allowed to express their opinion.

I do my best every day,” said Nagelsmann forgivingly.

After the worst start to the season in the Bundesliga for twelve years, he was not satisfied himself.

Nagelsmann recently flew his own statement around his ears.
