Behind the scenes and on the pitch, the PSG season promises to be decidedly turbulent.

The day after the disclosure of Kylian Mbappé's departure plans, wishing to leave the capital club this winter, Mediapart made new revelations about PSG on Wednesday.

They target the communication department which, according to information on the website, paid an external agency to create a “digital army” of fake accounts on social networks.

The objective was as follows: to discredit certain personalities of the club, like Kylian Mbappé, Adrien Rabiot or Antero Henrique, to defend others, like President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, or even to attack the media. .

Other people, like Jean-Michel Aulas, the president of Olympique Lyonnais, and the man slapped by Neymar during the final of the Coupe de France lost in 2019 would have been targeted.

Facts denied by the PSG which indicates to Mediapart that "the club has never contracted with an agency in order to harm individuals and institutions".

The targeted Paname Squad Twitter account

According to information from Mediapart, the Parisian club would have approached the agency Digital Big Brother (DBB) in order to engage a dozen accounts on social networks in order to preserve the image of PSG, while s 'taking in various personalities.

A Twitter account stands out in the survey published this Wednesday: that of Paname Squad, launched in 2018. Paid by the PSG communication department, it can rely on a large community thanks to the transfer window information delivered by the Parisian club.

In 2019, this account directly attacks Kylian Mbappé.

Having defended him in March after the striker announced his desire to stay in Paris when rumors sent him to Real Madrid, Paname Squad suggest the players keep a low profile.

“Now work in silence and be discreet.

No need for too much declaration.

We need a response from the field.

Rebelote in May, when the world champion had maintained the vagueness around his future during the evening of the UNFP Trophies.

Paname Squad conveys the following message: “The Parisian supporters love you very much, you know that… You got your

across tonight, and what timing!

?

If you could press like that on the pitch…”

At the same time, this digital army would also have targeted two media: Mediapart and L'Équipe, deemed too hostile to the capital club.
