The Jereeh Watan Paralympic Games will continue its competitions for the second day in a row, amid wide participation in swimming, physical strength, athletics, badminton, table tennis and basketball.
In the physical strength competition, Saleh Al-Sabbagh won first place, followed by Zaher Al-Hanafi, then Majed Nahal, in the 54-kg category.
In the 59 kg category, Qusai Al-Awwad won the first place, Salah Mashael came in second and Omar Al-Beik in third place, while the 65 kg competition ended with Qusai Khalifa winning first place, followed by Abdul Ilah Hammoud and Samer Sawan.
The competitions of the session started yesterday, where the swimming competitions that took place in the Tishreen swimming pool in Damascus witnessed the participation of 11 injured people for a distance of 50 meters freestyle. The Iraqi Falah Nahed ranked first, followed by the Syrian Amer Salloum second, and Omar Al-Abdullah won the first place in the free amputation wounded category, followed by Muhammad Barkawi second and Abdul Karim Al-Ali third.
