Bayern received 4 out of 4

Julian Nagelsmann's men continued their flawless Champions League campaign by beating Viktoria Plzen (2-4).

This fourth victory in as many matches allows them to qualify for the round of 16.

Four is also the number of goals scored by the Bavarians, all in the first half on great collective action.

The only shadow on the board, the two goals conceded in the second half.

Son-Kane, magic duo

The South Korean and the Englishman gave Frankfurt defenders a nightmare when Tottenham won (3-2) on their lawn.

They are simply involved in the three goals.

Harry Kane served Son on the first before securing and converting a penalty himself for the second.

However, he missed one at the very end of the match.

Meanwhile, Son had his whole class talking by superbly volleying a cross from Hojbjerg for the third goal for Spurs who took control of Group D.

Mohamed Salah had no time to waste

On the bench at kick-off, the Egyptian striker scored a hat-trick in six minutes, worsening the score of a river victory for Liverpool on the lawn of Glasgow Rangers (1-7).

We must not forget the excellent performance of his teammate Roberto Firmino who guided his team by scoring twice, before serving Darwin Nuñez on a plateau for the third goal of the Reds.

FLOPS

Barca have a few toes in the Europa League

We will long remember this spectacular draw (3-3) at Camp Nou between FC Barcelona and Inter Milan.

Barca had opened the scoring through Ousmane Dembélé before Inter equalized and turned the tables, but Robert Lewandowski regained his efficiency to equalize twice.

This point of draw does not help either Inter, which misses the opportunity to qualify, or Barça, which no longer has its destiny in its hands in this group C.

Bayer Leverkusen lacked realism

Already beaten in Portugal last week (2-0), the Germans lost again to FC Porto for Xabi Alonso's first in the Champions League, this time spanked on their lawn (0-3).

French international Moussa Diaby, his team's best player, tried everything, to no avail, and Bayer missed a penalty before being disallowed a goal.

This defeat puts them in last position in Group B, which is not made up of European leaders.

With Club Brugge qualifying earlier on Tuesday, there is one last ticket left that will have to be won at the expense of Atlético Madrid and Porto.

Glasgow Rangers, 0 points

Admittedly, it was Liverpool in front.

But after opening the scoring and in front of a fired crowd, one could expect Rangers to tighten the game and try to keep this result to glean their first points in the Champions League.

Unfortunately, they let the Reds return, however little in confidence lately, before literally sinking at the end of the match.

Very severe defeat on arrival (1-7).

The Scots are eliminated.
