Judaica started the sixth day of the competition in a good way after a victory over Turkey Sabil Akbulot • Serafim Company was already eliminated in the first battle

The seventh and penultimate day of the Judo World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, this morning (Wednesday), brought Raz Hershko and Serafim Company to the competition circuit.

The 24-year-old Hershko, who competes in the weight category over 78 kg, opened her way in the competition considered to be the toughest in the round, with automatic promotion to the second round, thanks to her high ranking, where she met Turkey's Sabil Akbulut, bronze medalist from this year's European Championships.

In the battle itself, Hershko managed to rescue Vasari, and with one second to go she got another one to advance to the quarterfinals,

The European runner-up, ranked first in the world, came to the competition with an impressive record, having won 11 medals in a row since April last year, with 4 gold medals, 2 silver (including this from the European Championship in Bulgaria) and 5 bronze.

Serafim Company, who stepped into the big shoes of Uri Sasson at a weight of over 100 kg, opened against the Senegalese NDIAYE MBAGNICK ranked 20th in the world, who achieved a hold on the Israeli and finished his way from the championship.
