The earliest European classic was decided at the last second.

Never in the Euroleague had Barcelona and Madrid met so soon, in the second round of the calendar, but despite the cold of qualifying at the Palau, a very hot duel was experienced with a heart-stopping ending.

He commanded Jasikevicius's team for most of the night, so comfortably in some sections that he even stretched his lead to 18 points (61-43), but the eternal white outburst in the final quarter led to the unthinkable.

Llull had a three-pointer for Madrid to win the match at the last second and plunge a knife into the culé heart.

He failed and the victory stayed on the Barça pitch (the first white defeat of the season), but with a scare that portrayed Barça's lack of consistency to finish off Madrid when they have it on the ropes.

It happened to him in the semifinal of the last Final Four and only a deflected shot by Llull prevented another skid.

With Laso or with Chus Mateo, Madrid has the resistance stapled.

Barça will have to examine those tremors.

The new white coach raised with Cornelie from five in the starting line-up to open the field and shield himself against two Barça centers with a good wrist, Sanli and Tobey, but the first set of cards went to the men from the Palau.

The French pivot missed from the triple, Tobey responded to the challenge with a bingo and Barça took the first coins (5-0, 10-4).

Jasikevicius's team exploited the power of Satoransky (2.01m) to move close to the hoop when his jailer was Sergio Rodríguez.

El Chacho suffered in defense just as he shone on the other shore: three assists from the Canarian thinker sustained Madrid in a very hectic start.

With the giant at full throttle and a more withdrawn defense, Madrid cut ground (30-27) in a parenthesis in which the Barcelona fans had a hard time finding a crack.

The meeting had started very happy, colorful and fun, until for a few minutes it was returning to that agony in which the classics move.

The Whites struggled to focus on the rim, with shooting percentages of two under 50%, and the difference grew in favor of Saras' boys.

A three-pointer by Hezonja at the buzzer sent the match to rest at the psychological barrier of 10 points: 40-30.

Barcelona responded with fast legs to that period in which Madrid usually wakes up from lethargy with a late hunger.

The azulgrana team moved the ball well down the outside line and Mateo's group got stuck, not even saved by the Tavares route.

Only the magic in Hezonja's fingers and a spark from Musa prevented the date from breaking up definitively (50-41).

A triple from the moon by Laprovittola and a flying pass by Jokubaitis to Vesely raised the temperature of the Palau.

The two teams wanted to take off the straps while the coaches demanded to tighten the nuts more in the middle of the correcalles.

The amateur had fun and the technicians suffered because they saw failures everywhere.

The final quarter opened with a 63-52 and three minutes for Madrid without scoring a basket.

Barça seriously closed down the defensive rebound and the best versions of the course by Satoransky, Vesely and Sanli seemed to anticipate a relatively calm outcome.

Tobey also struck from the outside.

The whites had the bullet of pride left, an ammunition that is usually lethal.

Cornelie and Causeur advanced the last kidney shot (73-62) and Deck put the team on his back in a great show of personality (13 points in a row for a total of 21).

Jasikevicius's soldiers suddenly had the ball burning in their hands and their legs trembled.

The azulgrana losses followed one another as disbelief increased in the Palau Blaugrana.

Barça had melted and Madrid was riding the wave.

With 15 seconds to go, at 75-73, the Barcelona players gave away another ball and Madrid played to win.

Llull missed the triple for an unthinkable comeback.
