The Hallbergmoos footballers lost 3-1 against Stroh-Engel and Co.
The VfB concept was overturned after just 14 minutes.

– That was nothing at all again.
The Bayernliga footballers from VfB Hallbergmoos lost to FC Memmingen 1:3 (0:2) on Friday evening after a poor performance and have to be prepared for very difficult times.
The defeat could have been even worse if the guests had not switched to management mode early on.
Regionalliga relegated Memmingen has had a run in recent weeks.
That's why it would have been important for VfB to keep the zero at the back for as long as possible in order to be able to annoy the favorites a bit.
That was exactly what happened after 14 minutes and two goals from the guests.
Micha Bareis caught the ball at the far post in the tenth minute after a corner kick sailed through the six-yard box.
And just four minutes later, ex-professional Dominik Stroh-Engel was allowed to shoot in from close range after Carl Opitz failed to get the ball away.
Nothing went forward at VfB
The Hallbergmooser had actually formed a back four with four central defenders (Opitz, Strohmaier, Giglberger, Mömkes) to close the rear.
After the two quick and really cheap goals, every concept was wasted.
It remained at 0:2 until half-time because this result was enough for the people of Memmingen.
The guest just waited to see if the penultimate person was still handing out invitations.

Nothing went forward at VfB.
With a little goodwill one could speak of a half chance in the first half of the game.
The first real opportunity with goal potential was a shot by Simon Werner, which the keeper steered to a corner with difficulty (48').
Earlier, for the first time this season, there were whistles from the stands as the players went into the dressing room.
It was proof that even the most loyal and passionate supporters run out of patience when their team surrenders to fate.

After the change, the Hallbergmoosers were able to play a little more, since the Swabians only wanted to bring the mandatory victory home.
With an interim counterattack by Pascal Maier, Memmingen scored a third goal in a game that could have been called off after 14 minutes (67').
In the final quarter of an hour, VfB at least had dangerous shots from Berin Brzovic and Maurice David.
With a fine lob Werner then made it 1:3 with the last action of the game, but that only had statistical value.
In order to be able to cause serious problems for opponents in the Bayernliga, it takes a lot more.
At the moment, the Hallbergmooser have to be happy if they don't slip directly onto the relegation zone.
In view of the current impressions, a relegation rank is really the highest of feelings.
