Lavi had already been wooed in Russia before.

In December 2020, CSKA Moscow offered 1.4 million euros to acquire him from Maccabi Haifa, but the Greens refused. Now it seems that the same team has renewed their interest, as have other teams abroad.

Maccabi Haifa estimates at this stage that Lavi will not sign a new contract, although he is expected to receive an offer.
