It is a potential blow for the XV of France.
As the announcement of the group for the autumn tour is looming, the back of the Stade Toulouse Melvyn Jaminet came out injured, hit in the left ankle after only 15 minutes of play, Saturday, in Brive.
Upon receiving an aerial ball on his 40 m, the tricolor international (12 selections) blocked his left ankle under the hips of Brive tackler Axel Muller.

After the intervention of the trainers, the Rouge et Noir player was replaced directly by the Argentinian three-quarters Juan Cruz Mallia for this meeting of the 7th day of Top 14 largely won by Stade Toulousain (7-45).
He was then seen on the Toulouse bench on crutches, and with a large pocket of ice around his ankle.
A participation in the compromised tour?
The severity of his injury remains to be determined, but the back of Stade Toulousain could be absent from the next list of the Blues for the autumn tour.
The names of the 42 players selected by Fabien Galthié should be announced no earlier than Monday afternoon according to the French Rugby Federation.
As a reminder, the XV of France must face Australia on November 5 in Saint-Denis, before continuing against South Africa (12 in Marseille) then Japan (20 in Toulouse).
If Jaminet were to miss the tour, he would join an already substantial list of forfeited players including props Cyril Baille and Demba Bamba, second-line Bernard Le Roux, third-line François Cros, center Arthur Vincent and winger Gabin Villière.
