the numbers
* Benzema's goal was Real's fastest at the Bernabeu against Barcelona since March 2013. Even then it was the French striker who scored in the sixth minute, and even then the Blancos won (1:2).
* Benzema is tied with Santayana for fifth place in all-time El Clasico scorers - 12 goals each.
In the lead is of course Lionel Messi with 26, in second place Cristiano Ronaldo and Alfredo Di Stefano (18), in third place Raul (15) and the fourth place is shared by Cesar Rodriguez, Paco Hanto and Franz Puskas (14).

The responses
Carlo Ancelotti
, who gave a warm hug to Xavi at the end, said: "Obviously I thought about the loss at the end of the previous season. I tried not to invent things or do experiments this time. I used Eder Militau to pressure Robert Lewandowski, I guess it worked."
For not making five substitutions, he replied: "It helps a lot, but it's not always possible to use all of them."
37-year-old Luka Modric
commented on the applause from the audience: "Standing ovation? The best thing for a footballer is to be recognized by the fans for the work."
Ahead of the Ballon d'Or ceremony tomorrow, he added: "Benzema should win it."
Rodrigo
also
praised the Frenchman: "It's a pleasure to play alongside him."
