This is what the fans and players of SC Riessersee had probably dreamed of: In the 239th derby between SCR and Tölzer Löwen, the white-blue team celebrated a clear 6-1 victory.

Bad Tölz –

The supporters of SC Riessersee and Tölzer Löwen had to wait for the 239th derby for more than four years.

Since they were able to cope with another 15 minutes, which the league game was kicked off later because the rush was so big.

During this waiting period, the local lion fans warmly welcomed the guests with a whistling concert and the chanting of “shit, shit, Riessersee”.

The response of the white and blue: The 0:1 after 24 seconds by Ryker Killins and the ultimately clear 6:1 away win.

Disrupted first third

The quick lead didn't really give the guests a tailwind.

The SCR determined third one for long stretches and also booked more chances than the hosts, but overall the 3253 spectators in Bad Tölz were offered a broken first 20 minutes.

The Riesserseer made it difficult for themselves again and again, especially through completely unnecessary disc losses on the defensive.

Riessersee owed the fact that the first break started with a narrow lead to goalie Daniel Allavena and also to Uli Maurer, who in one scene prevented his keeper from being duped by a pawn trick.

The offensive, on the other hand, had its difficulties hitting the target at all.

SCR players hit the puck three times in a promising position.

SCR ripped off in excess

The second third was initially similar.

First and foremost, both teams were concerned about standing securely at the back, shying away from risk and lacking in precision when passing.

Dangerous goal-area scenes were in short supply.

Until the Tölzers decimated themselves.

The referees whistled for a trip twice, giving the SCR a chance in a five-on-three for 30 seconds.

In this phase, the guests still missed the 0:2, but that followed seconds later in five-a-side.

Alexander Höller took care of the matter, used the space available to him and netted.

A few pointer turns later it should have been 0:3, but Maurer failed alone in front of Löwen goalie Enrico Salvarani.

Goal number three came a little later, as a Tölzer kept going to the penalty box.

This time it was Sam Verelst who outnumbered

Lubor Dibelka scores against his former club

The hosts then took a break, as this score was extremely unusual for them.

After all, Bad Tölz was still undefeated this season.

But Coach Ryan Foster couldn't get his men back on track.

On the other hand, the hosts completely blacked out.

Or they had not yet internalized that Lubor Dibelka is wearing the Riesserseer jersey again this year and no longer that of the lions.

In any case, he was spotless on the blue line, got the pass, made his way to Salvarani, rounded him and made it 4-0 for the guests.

Three reasons for the victory of the SCR

In the final third, the SCR benefited again from the less clever duel of the hosts.

It was easy for Robin Soudek to put the score at 0:5 in view of the massive space in the majority.

Then it was a little more Derby-like on the ice, plenty of tenderness was exchanged.

After that, Riessersee's captain Simon Mayr felt a little sorry for the hosts, as he served Nick Huard in an exemplary manner – 1:5.

Increased Lions morale only minimally.

On the other hand, shortly before the end, they almost showed a refusal to work.

Tölz received another penalty, the referee raised his arm, the hosts switched off and thus allowed Dibelka to score his second goal of the evening.

A symbolic scene.

From the second third, the lions were overwhelmed and rightly went down 1:6.

The next damper for the SCR

The home fans said goodbye to the guests as they had greeted them.

Didn't bother the white-blue at all that evening: They could safely ignore that with a smile and the derby victory in their luggage.
