Tiktukno: summary of today's events, 16.10 (Sport1)
The Scottish champions, Celtic, started the season great in the domestic league as they lead the table, but in the Champions League they are still looking for the first victory as they have a single point out of a possible 12 in Group 6 with Real Madrid, R.B.
Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk.
In Liel Abda's team, voices are heard regarding the depth of the squad, when another Israeli player who was on the agenda in the summer provided explanations regarding his non-arrival at the Scottish club.
Mohammed Abu Fani was a candidate to come to Celtic and was under close surveillance by Gromim at the magnificent club, but the deal did not materialize and he remained at Maccabi Haifa.
The Israeli midfielder was interviewed about his stay in the Israeli champion and explained that he thought he would go to Europe last summer: "It wasn't easy for me this summer. I expected to go to Europe and at the end of the transfer it didn't happen and I stayed in Haifa. I see this as something positive, because there was a lot of uncertainty about my possibility to move team and it affected me as a player. As soon as the transfer window closed, this chapter also closed for me."
Abu Fani added that he is focused solely on the Israeli champion: "I have been at Maccabi Haifa all my life. I define myself as part of the club and as a fan of the team. Now my goal is only to make this club better and to improve as a player myself. I don't think about any transition".
Glad to stay in the uniform of the Israeli champion.
