Since last season, "Le Parisien" has been reporting every weekend on all the results and highlights of sporting events involving clubs in the Île-de-France region.

The match of the weekend: in the supercharged atmosphere of Roland Garros, Paris loses against Monaco

Basketball

.

It was the event not to be missed under any circumstances, even on a day of clasico Real-Barça.

In an unrecognizable Roland-Garros for the occasion, Paris Basketball received Monaco on behalf of the 5th day of Betclic Elite.

On the Philippe-Chatrier court, where the parquet floor replaced clay for one match, the Ile-de-France residents showed a good face and lost slightly to the reigning French vice-champion (91-95).

In an exceptional atmosphere we bow again, but proud and with our heads held high 🙏

Thank you to the 10,000 people who pushed us, we will continue to work 💪 See you

But we will especially remember these 10,000 spectators enthusiastic about the idea of attending a basketball match in this place which had not hosted one for 75 years.

The atmosphere was there and gave a nice spotlight on tricolor basketball.

The event: Paris 92 won in a match for a good cause

Handball

.

At the sports hall of Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine), it was pink October evening on Friday evening.

On the occasion of the match between Paris 92 and Toulon, various activities were on the program.

Sale of t-shirts, buttons, new jerseys worn by the players, all to raise funds for the league against cancer.

On the floor, the Parisiennes won 27-20 after making the difference from the first act.

A good operation which allows them to climb on the podium of this Butagaz Energie League.

Great performance from the lionesses of Paris 92 who won a victory (final score: 27 to 20)

Next match: October 21 at home against Bourg de Péage.

The reaction: the female PSG sets the record straight

Football

: Held in check on the lawn of Le Havre two weeks ago (2-2), Gérard Prêcheur's players reacted this weekend by disposing of Dijon at the Georges-Lefèvre stadium (3-1) on Saturday afternoon.

Lieke Martens, Grace Geyoro and Ramona Bachmann put the Parisiennes back on the path to success.

In the standings, the Parisiennes remain two points behind the Lyonnaises, still at the top of the championship.

Place now in the Champions League with the reception of Chelsea next Thursday at the Jean-Bouin stadium and a trip to the lawn of Real Madrid six days later.

The counter-performance: 0 points for Massy and Suresnes

Rugby.

On the Massy side, grimace soup is back on the menu.

After two victories in a row obtained in the snatch against Provence Rugby then in Carcassonne, the men of Julien Maréchal and Jean-Baptiste Di Martino were defeated Friday evening at home by Béziers (10-16).

A 5th setback in seven games that keeps them stuck in the depths of the Pro D2 standings.

Focus on the rest of the championship ✊

GO MASSY!

The next day, Suresnes welcomed Dax on behalf of the sixth day of National.

Facing the 2nd in the standings, the players from Hauts-de-Seine did not make the weight and lost 16-31.

The road-trip: the Jokers of Cergy visiting the South-East

Ice hockey

.

Very dense weekend for the Cergy-Pontoise Jokers who played two games in less than 24 hours Traveling to Gap on Friday evening, the Ile-de-France hockey players managed a major performance by winning on the ice of the leader of this Magnus League.

A 3-2 success acquired thanks to goals from Loïc Farnier, Gage Torrel and Thomas Suire.

But the Jokers, led by Jonathan Paredes, failed to follow up a few hours later on the Nice ice rink and conceded a 4th defeat this season, with the same score of 3-2.

Mixed results for this road trip between the mountains and the Côte d'Azur.

Frustration: Le Plessis-Robinson does not go far against Narbonne

Volleyball.

On paper, it looks like a slap.

However, the reality is much more nuanced for Le Plessis-Robinson on the move to the Narbonne floor in Ligue A. The Ile-de-France residents lost 3 sets to 0 this Sunday after three hotly contested sets (25-23/25-22 /28-26).

Next weekend will take place an enticing derby against Paris Volley 75, also beaten this weekend in Cambrai (3-0).

Among young people: Two out of three for young French people at TIBY handball

Handball

.

This weekend, the 19th edition of the TIBY tournament took place, a real benchmark for the under-19s.

Four strong handball nations were represented at the Val-d'Oise High Performance Sports Center in Eaubonne: France, Hungary, Croatia and Portugal.

Les Bleuets got off to a perfect start by successively dismissing Portugal (31-22) then Hungary (28-22).

But against Croatia, the step was apparently too high.

A 31-24 defeat which relegates the French to second place behind these same Croats.

We will remember the fine performances of Pierre-Alexis Favril and Zuzo Rehyan, top scorers for the French with 12 and 11 goals respectively.
