On November 10th, Hansi Flick will announce his squad for the World Cup.

A few top performers are still injured.

We show who is not fit yet.

Munich/Frankfurt – There are still four weeks until the start of the controversial 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ten days beforehand, on November 10, Hansi Flick wants to announce his 26-strong squad.

It is to be feared that the national coach will then have to nominate players who are still suffering from the consequences of an injury.

It is therefore important to keep a close eye on which players have progressed how far in their healing process and for whom the World Cup could come too early.

According to the current status, some national players are suffering from an injury.

By the time the German team plays their first game against Japan on November 23rd, everyone should be fit again.

Injured DFB stars before the Qatar World Cup: Leroy Sané (FC Bayern)

In recent years, Leroy Sané has been repeatedly criticized at Bayern for his fluctuating performance.

At Hansi Flick, however, the offensive player was always seeded and he has also been in impressive form for the World Cup at FCB in recent weeks.

He also impressed with his appearance in the 5-0 win against SC Freiburg, which was to remain his last for the time being.

In the game against Breisgau, Sané tore a muscle fiber in his rear left thigh.

An injury with which, with a bit of luck, you can play again after two weeks.

However, Sané does not want to jeopardize his participation in the World Cup and may sit out a little longer.

However, he should be able to get back into full training before he is nominated.

Manuel Neuer (FC Bayern) is struggling with shoulder problems

The FC Bayern goalkeeper is probably giving Hansi Flick the most headache at the moment.

Manuel Neuer has an unspecified problem with his shoulder, the lifting movement should partially block.

As unclear as the national keeper's exact diagnosis is, there is no certainty as to when he will return between the posts.

In Munich, however, they are confident about Neuer's return soon.

You want to let the experienced support decide for yourself when he feels able to play again.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann warns of "instinct" and does not want Neuer "to pump full of painkillers".

Injured DFB stars: Jonas Hofmann (Borussia Mönchengladbach) is out after the cup game

Jonas Hofmann has been convincing in recent appearances in the national team and even got a World Cup guarantee from Hansi Flick.

Then came the brief moment of shock in the cup game against Darmstadt: Hoffmann fell on his shoulder, stayed down and had to be replaced.

The diagnosis of a shoulder joint rupture in the Gladbacher turned out to be a little less difficult than initially feared.

In the worst case, it could take up to six weeks to recover from such an injury, but Hofmann seems to have been lucky.

His club stated that the World Cup was not in danger.

World Cup in danger?

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund) – the eternal unlucky man

The eternal unlucky Marco Reus - that may have been the thought of many when the Dortmund player had to leave the pitch injured in the 32nd minute of the derby against Schalke.

The torn ligament made him miss two league games and the last international trip, but Reus was back on the field against Union Berlin.

So you could catch your breath and hope that Reus can acquire the necessary fitness for the start of the World Cup.

However, the BVB captain is now probably out again.

In the DFB Cup game at Hannover 96, the BVB captain is not there.

At first glance, this seems to be a security measure.

If the injury does not turn out to be worse, Reus will be able to go to the World Cup.
