The 2022 Winner Cup final will take place tomorrow (Sunday, 19:00) at the Enerbox Hall in Hadera and will bring together Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Yellows have five wins in the tournament, including in the last two years, and are the record winners in the factory.

For Hapoel Tel Aviv this is their first appearance in the finals.

The last time Maccabi Tel Aviv lost in the final was in 2019, when they were defeated by a point by Hapoel Jerusalem coached by Oded Ketch and whose team included Jacob Brown, Bar Timur and Idan Zalmanson.

However, to the great regret of the Reds - this time the injured Jacob Brown will be absent.

Maccabi Tel Aviv comes to the game after the double victory last week in the EuroLeague over Monaco and Villervan, and in both games, Oded Ketch's team manages to come back from a double-digit deficit in the first half to win.

In Maccabi Tel Aviv, Jaylen Adams, Austin Hollins and Jeral Martin did not register for the game.

Lorenzo Brown, Wade Baldwin, Bonzie Colson, Josh Niebo and Alex Poythers will be on the Yellows' roster.

At Maccabi, the game is very important, since besides being the first final of the season, it is the first derby of the season against a team that beat them four times last season.

Hapoel Tel Aviv will return to Israel on Thursday after the victory over Paris in the Eurocup and they want to lift their first title this season, hoping it won't be their last title.

Hapoel has a lot of confidence on the one hand, but on the other hand, the Reds know that they are still considered an underdog against Oded Ketch's team, and will have to continue playing at such a high level in order to come away with a victory and the title.

Xavier Manford, who did not play against Paris due to a strained neck, has not yet fully recovered but will be at Danny Franco's disposal.

On the other hand, Jacob Brown will be absent from tomorrow's game due to a sprained ankle, and should return to action within a few days.
