Anastasia Gorbenko tonight (Saturday) won a second bronze medal in a row at the World Cup competition in Berlin, this time in the 100 breaststroke.
The 19-year-old European champion swimmer set a time of 1:04.96 minutes and finished third, much thanks to an extremely fast second half of the race.
The gold was won by the Olympic champion from London, the Lithuanian Ruta Mailotita with 1:03.07 minutes and the Dutch Shahauten took second with 1:04.71 seconds.
Later this evening in the pool in Berlin, Yaakov Tomarkin finished in fourth place in the final of the 200 individual medley with 1:56.27 minutes.
It was the Israeli swimmer's second final in the competition, which will end tomorrow.
