Not as prominent as usual in the first half, Kevin De Bruyne woke up after the break.

Served near the penalty area - slightly on the right side - by Bernardo Silva, the Belgian took his chance with the flat of his right foot.
His magnificent strike left Robert Sanchez no chance since it lodged near his small right net.

Harmless in the first period, Brigthon & Hove Albion showed a little more enterprising in the second act.

An outing...for nothing.
In the first period, on a long ball from Ederson, Robert Sanchez left his cages to try to clear his defense.
But the Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper was well ahead of Erling Haaland who was then able to conclude quietly with a flat right foot in empty cages (21st).

Manuel Akanji, not (very) reassuring
This Saturday afternoon, Manuel Akanji did not achieve his best performance since arriving at Manchester City last summer.
He is partly responsible for reducing Leandro Trossard's score by losing a duel that was well within his reach.
