We've already seen dramatic finals, but what happened tonight in Argentina has not been seen for years: Boca Juniors won championship number 35 in its history after a 2:2 home draw with Independiente.
The Purples had to win to secure the title, but they benefited from the help of none other than hated rivals River Plate who beat Racing Club 2-1 in the corresponding match and effectively handed the title to Boca Juniors in a game where Racing missed a penalty in the 90th minute before the winning goal of River, which in the end changed nothing.
Boca went up to the match against Idpediente in front of their home crowd with their fate in their hands: a win against the sworn rival of Racing Club would guarantee them the championship while at the same time Racing played against River Plate.
On the face of it, both Boca and Racing should have won, but Argentine football provided the world with a lesson in pure sportsmanship.
Andrew Fernandez scored a penalty and led the guests to a 0:1 lead in the 32nd minute.
But Guijerma Fernandez equalized (34) and Sebastian Vieja converted (49).
Is Boca on the way to an easy championship?
This is not what Independiente thought, which didn't do calculations and didn't take into account its hatred for Racing and in the 81st minute Nicolas Viejo scored a dramatic 2:2 like no other in Bonboneira.

The home crowd went into shock, at this point a Racing victory guarantees them a championship at the expense of Boca and in a 1:1 situation against River Plate Racing, they received a penalty in the 90th minute.
Jonathan Galban received the huge responsibility to score and give Racing a championship, but Franco Armani saved and in fact gave the championship to Boca, when in the end Migla Borja also scored deep in extra time a goal that gave River Plate 1:2 and did not change the fact that River and Armani were the ones who arranged for Boca The rival turned championship.
Who would believe such a scenario?
