Hapoel Haifa has agreed in principle on the appointment of Roni Levy as the team's coach.

Levy is expected to sign a contract today (Monday) and conduct a first training session tomorrow, after meeting with owner Yoav Katz, who is in Israel.

Following Levy's arrival, assistant coach Meir Ben Margi is expected to announce the end of his position at the club.

Ben Margi will conduct the training session today, after which he will talk with Katz to summarize the terms of his departure.

The changes on the lines evoke echoes among the players as well.

Some of them worked with Roni Levy in the past and did not get along with him.

The last one was last season, when defender Hatem Abdelhamid almost left Hapoel B.S. after repeated confrontations with the coach. B.S. backed Levy, this season Alhamid left for Hapoel Haifa and will now play under him again.

Following the arrival, Alhamid may request to return to Hapoel BS in January.

It is important to note that the player will not be able to leave for another team in Israel, since he has already played in Bash and Haifa. Therefore, he will only be able to return to the club from which he was loaned. Hapoel Haifa said that these are preliminary conclusions and an attempt will be made to align the generations between the two with the official signing of Roni Levy at the club .
