After that, nothing stands in the way of his participation in the Champions League duel against FC Barcelona.
The Munich team will board a plane for Barcelona on Tuesday, where they aim to secure victory in their group.
The first leg was already eagerly awaited - after all, the Bayern squad will meet former colleague Robert Lewandowski in the matches against Barcelona.
At the last meeting just in time for Müller's birthday, Bayern had a 2-0 lead.
Bavarian Sports Prize for Müller
Müller received the Bavarian Sports Prize from Prime Minister Markus Söder on Friday.
He proudly reported on Instagram: “Bavaria is my home.
In relation to football as in my whole life.
That's why I'm particularly pleased about this award in my home country."
He couldn't help but wink: "I hope that this title of Prime Minister won't be the last one this season." Millions of FC Bayern fans certainly hope so too.
On Wednesday, the record champions can take the next step towards the title in Barcelona.
