The people of Ness Ziona worked all summer to find a suitable European framework in which the team will play in the 2022/23 season and in the last few days they officially announced their registration for the Northern European League.
Ness Ziona, the 2020 Eurocup champion, to remind you, did not finish last season in the place that automatically leads to one of the factories of FIBA (Champions League and Eurocup) and therefore chose the Northern European League where several intriguing teams from Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and other countries play.

Financially, the league will only award financial grants to teams that reach the Final Four in the following order: the team that finishes in fourth place will receive 2,500 euros for advancing to the Final Four, the team ranked third will receive 5,000 euros, the runner-up will put into the bank account 7,500 euros and the champion will earn 10,000 euros.
Also, Ness Ziona will receive from the league administration a NIS 80,000 marketing grant for participating in a European enterprise, such as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv who play in Euroleague enterprises where participation does not depend on sporting achievements in the local league.
