Barcelona – There is no reason for FC Bayern to complain in the Champions League this season.

So far, Munich have been able to score the maximum number of points and also impressed in the first leg in the 2-0 win against FC Barcelona.

Now the second leg is coming up in the Catalan capital.

The day before the game, Julian Nagelsmann will answer questions from journalists at the press conference on Tuesday evening (7.30 p.m.) in Barcelona.

Next to him on the podium will be FCB defender Matthijs de Ligt.

After the brief dip in results in the Bundesliga, FC Bayern has rehabilitated both in terms of play and results and is showing its usual dominance.

Most recently, TSG Hoffenheim played skillfully against the wall, only the exploitation of chances at 2-0 could be criticized.

The face of recent success is undoubtedly Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who started again and scored the final goal.

But where there are winners, there are always losers, even if in this case only on a small scale.

After the center forward experiment with Sadio Mané failed, the newcomer was drawn to the wing.

It ended with a place on the bench for the Senegalese.

Against Hoffenheim, Kingsley Coman started on the left winger favored by Mané, and the newcomer from Munich only came on in the 61st minute.

FCB coach Nagelsmann described his approach as "more of a decision for King" and not against Mané.

So it will be interesting to see if this decision will be repeated against Barcelona.

The press conference may already provide information about the personnel.

Another topic that will be boiled up – again – ahead of the Camp Nou encounter is the encounter with Robert Lewandowski.

He had switched to Barcelona in the summer after endless bickering.

Much to the chagrin of his new employer, the Pole remained goalless in the first leg at the Allianz Arena.

And overall, the Champions League season so far has been disappointing for the Catalans.

Leaving the premier class is anything but unrealistic.

If Barcelona cannot win against Bayern at home, relegation to the Europa League will probably be sealed.

In addition to Inter Milan, the Czechs from Viktoria Pilsen made a big slip against the still pointless Czechs.
