Morant did a drill to Simmons, who was furious: "It's the NBA, not high school basketball"
The Memphis star cunningly extracted a sixth foul from the Brooklyn forward, who accumulated 14 fouls in 3 games: "It's a mistake by the referees."
Nash admitted: "He's rusty, he hasn't played too much basketball in the last 18 months"
Voila system!

After almost not playing all of last season due to a dispute with Philadelphia and then being traded to Brooklyn and being "injured", Ben Simmons started a new season alongside Durant and Kyrie, but for now the Nets are not looking good and that's a lot because of the Australian forward who is far from showing the ability expected of a star of his size .
In three games in which he played with Brooklyn, he accumulated a total of 17 points and no less than 14 fouls, and in two of the three games he also committed six fouls.
Tonight, against Memphis, he contributed only 7 points and threw only five to the basket.
Simmons added 8 assists, but also recorded 5 turnovers.
The forward signed a particularly stupid move, which in retrospect can be said to have decided the game in favor of the hosts.
After Kyrie Irving scored and narrowed the lead to just 124:118, Ja Morant let the ball roll without touching it so the clock wouldn't run.
Simmons let him pass the half and then tried to guard the Memphis star, but committed a sixth foul and was jeered by the home fans, and then Desmond Bain made a three-pointer and another basket to seal the deal.
Didn't believe he got whistled, neither did Durant.

Simmons for his part claimed that it was not an offense and Steve Nash also agreed with him and made movements of disbelief.
"I saw the move after the game, it wasn't a foul," Simmons grumbled, it was a mistake by the referee and it's really frustrating because it was late in the game which was close.
It's NBA, it's not college basketball, it's not high school.
You can make contact with players, there are also players who will bleed, it's basketball."
Simmons also grumbled about receiving a technical foul in the first quarter: "I didn't get any explanations about that.
The referee (JT Orr) had nothing to say about it.
He said I said something but I didn't curse him.
I just want to fly out of here and not get fined."
On the other hand, Morant, who thrilled with 38 points in only 34 minutes, explained how he was able to draw a sixth foul from Simmons following a move he saw from him a few years ago.
"If you want to dig into it, then I think in my rookie season I was in Philadelphia and there was exactly the same move with Simmons, who grabbed the ball and dunked. I knew he would pressure me and I would force the referee to whistle against him for a foul."
