The maligned point guard is coming back from injury, but Austin Reaves may continue in the top five.

The decline of Russell Westbrook continues to be one of the main stories of the early season in the NBA.
The maligned center has not found himself since the beginning of the season, and is having trouble coming to terms with his new status as a secondary player.
The Lakers, who have not yet won this season, also lost the previous game in which he was absent due to injury, but it seems that they recognize the problem with his integration one way or another.
According to ESPN, Westbrook may come off the bench in tonight's game against Minnesota, with Austin Reaves who started in his place in the previous game expected to keep his spot.
That may still change with Anthony Davis suffering from back pain and will not be able to play, but in any case it seems that Darwin Hamm, the coach of the Lakers, is looking for solutions that will make Westbrook more effective.
How will he get the bench?

ESPN claims that the main purpose of dropping Westbrook to the bench is "to allow him to serve as the primary playmaker of the Lakers' second unit", and it is possible that this will be a permanent solution (unless Westbrook is traded soon).
Westbrook averages 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.3 per game this season.
