Mané!

FC Bayern delivers a strong performance here and controls what is happening in the Allianz Arena.

In the final phase of the 1st half things got wild at times, because first Mané and on the other side Widmer missed their penalties.

In both cases, the decision only came from the VAR.

All in all, an entertaining encounter that makes you want more.

The lists of the teams have just been read out.

Update from October 29, 2:44 p.m .:

No break for Kimmich and Goretzka.

Marcel Sabitzer and Ryan Gravenberch are therefore initially back on the bench.

It's understandable from Nagelsmann that he brings his top eleven today, as the Bundesliga is still about the top of the table.

In the Champions League next Tuesday against Inter, it really isn't about anything anymore, so the reservists should get their chance.

We're excited to hear what the coach has to say.

Update from October 29, 2:27 p.m .:

There is the lineup of FC Bayern.

In fact, Pavard and Coman are back on the bench.

Rotation?

Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that!

It's the same eleven as against FC Barcelona.

Update from October 29, 2:20 p.m.:

Apparently Kingsley Coman and Benjamin Pavard are back on the bench against MAinz 05. But the lineup is not yet officially out.

But it should be there in a few minutes.

Update from October 29, 1:53 p.m .:

In just under half an hour, the Bayern line-up should flutter in.

We are curious to see how coach Julian Nagelsmann sends his squad into the race.

Does Sadio Mane start?

Or can Kingsley Coman play again from the start?

And what about Leon Goretzka or Joshua Kimmich, do they get a break?

First report from 1.30 p.m .:

Munich – FC Bayern could still gild this successful week at the end.

After coach Julian Nagelsmann's team bagged their group victory in the Champions League with their 3-0 (2-0) win at FC Barcelona on Wednesday, they can take the lead in the Bundesliga this Saturday with a three-pointer against 1. FSV Mainz 05 Bundesliga are taken over.

However, initially only until Sunday afternoon, when Union Berlin has the chance to catch up against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

When trying to climb to the top of the table, Nagelsmann has to replace some stars again.

Leroy Sané and Lucas Hernandez have been missing for a long time, and Manuel Neuer has also not been in the FCB box for five games now.

In addition, Thomas Müller's back and hips are on strike again, which is why the original Bavarian will miss again against Mainz.

FC Bayern against Mainz in the live ticker: Nagelsmann without two stars

It is quite possible that Nagelsmann will take the offensive star out for a week.

Sané and Neuer may soon be coming back.

The only question is when?

Julian Nagelsmann has to play without Thomas Müller.

Mainz, who could technically draw level with Bayern by winning the Allianz Arena, are of course hoping for a surprise.

The game will be something special for Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in particular.

The accurate FCB attacker played for Rheinhessen from 2011 to 2014.

The 33-year-old has scored five goals in the past five games.

Does the series last?

From 3.30 p.m. we will know.
