Josua Tuisova will be a Racing 92 player next season.
The Fijian international winger from Lyon has signed up for three seasons with the current sixth in the Top 14 after his victory at Brive (43-38), the Hauts-de-Seine club announced on Monday.
The name of the 28-year-old player came up regularly on the side of Plessis-Robinson where his impressive speed capacities, his power and his status as Jiff (player from the training streams) caught the attention of sky and white recruiters.
Lyon, where he arrived in 2019 from Toulon, has long tried to persuade him to stay.
“Josua signed at Racing 92?
Not that I know, not that he knows either from what he told me, Lyon president Yann Roubert was annoyed in mid-October after the success of Lou in Montpellier.
We will say things as they are when they are official.
But for Joshua, for me, we are still in discussions.
That's what he told me and that's what his agent told me.

He will come to evolve in a Racing 92 led by the Englishman Stuart Lancaster, currently in post at Leinster, who will replace Laurent Travers next season.
Another recruit, the pillar Thomas Laclayat of Oyonnax, is strongly approached but has not been formalized by the club of 92.
