Will they be able to overtake Napoli on the way to first place?

House A

Liverpool - Napoli

0:0 (1st half)

In the previous round, the meeting between the two clubs ended in the humiliation of the Italians with a resounding 1:4 that marked the continuation of the season for Napoli and Liverpool.

Since that game, Luciano Spalletti's players have won 11 games in a row and want to maintain the perfect balance in Group A against the European runner-up.

Jurgen Klopp's team comes to this game in bad shape after two consecutive league losses to bottom teams in the form of Nottingham Forest and Leeds.

The only way for Liverpool to finish above Napoli would be to win at Anfield by four goals or more.

In the host's lineup, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino started the attack, with Ibrahima Konata returning to Klopp's 11.

Victor Osiman at the tip of Napoli.

Rangers - Ajax

1:0 (1st half)

The Scottish runner-up wants to end the group stage on a good note and avoid history as the team with the worst record in the history of the group stage of the Champions League.

Although in order to overtake Ajax on the way to the Europa League sounds like an almost impossible task (needing a victory by a margin of five goals or more), after the defeat in the previous meeting between the clubs, 0:4 to Ajax, Rangers will seek revenge.

4th minute: Goal!

Kodos left a touch to Berghaus, the attacking midfielder kicked a weak ball that hung on McGregor and stopped in the net.

0:1 to Ajax.

Another house phase with perfect balance?

third house

Bayern Munich - Inter

0:0 (1st half)

The home where everything closes in the fifth round will bring us the replay of the Champions League final of the 2009/10 season, when Inter will want to continue to prove that it belongs with the greats of Europe when it hosts the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Apart from Mathias de Licht and Romelu Lukaku who are in doubt for the meeting, there are no new injuries in the ranks of both teams.

The undisputed champion of Germany will look to finish the group stage with a perfect balance, when the last meeting between the two clubs in Germany ended with the victory of the Nerazzurri 2:3 in the round of 16 of the Champions League in the 2010/11 season.

Kingsley Coman and Sadio Mane started on the wings for the Bavarians, with the visitors Leotro Martins and Joaquin Correa on the wing.

Viktoria Plzen - Barcelona

1:0 (1st half)

Probably the biggest disappointment from the early elimination is Xavi's Barcelona.

With the arrival of a star battery in the summer in the form of Robert Lewandowski, Rafinha and Jules Conde, the Catalans did not survive the house of death and will continue a second season in a row to the Europa League.

The Spanish coach is expected to rest many of his players against the Czech champions, with the Polish striker, Sergio Busquets (yellow) and the French stopper out of the squad.

With three right goals and no point, Pelzen will try to surprise and get at least a goal against the luxury team from Spain.

Ansu Fati started the attack together with Rafinha and Fran Torres.

Need a point to advance to the next level.

fourth house

Marseille - Tottenham

0:0 (1st half)

The main dish of the evening comes precisely from the seven of the draw, it would seem that it consists of Tottenham and three other teams that will compete for the second place for the round of 16.

Now, in the final round, we are in a situation where each team can go on to the next stage or go home.

After the dramatic 2:3 victory over Bournemouth in the last round, the Roosters will hope for at least drama, but for a similar victory on the way to secure the first place in Group D.

The French come to the meeting after a 2:1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt and with a single league win in the last five games.

Lucas Mora surprisingly started the attack of the Roosters, with Alexis Sanchez at the edge of the host who must win.

Sporting Lisbon - Eintracht Frankfurt

0:0 (1st half)

In the parallel meeting at the intriguing house, the holder of the Europa League will be hosted in Lisbon with one goal - to win and overtake Sporting.

Any other result and they will be eliminated already in the group stage, when a victory for Marseille will cause them to drop to the last place and end their journey in Europe already in November.

A point is enough for the green-whites to secure at least second place, with a win combined with Tottenham's stumble in Marseille also securing the home lead.

Ansger Knauf has returned from injury and is a doubt for the Frankfurt squad, with Chiko Lamba undergoing a fitness test ahead of the important game.

Just don't lose.
