Ima Judoka is expected to soon be appointed the new coach of Brooklyn, and step into the shoes of Steve Nash.

About a month and a half has passed since he was suspended by Boston due to the forbidden affair with the club's staff member, but it seems that the Nets are less bothered by this affair.

Was Steven E. Smith right?

"Brooklyn has reviewed the circumstances of the suspension and believes he can bolster the 29th-best defense in the league right now," ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski wrote.

Boston, for its part, will not demand compensation - for its part, it is ready to move on: "The independent investigations they carried out, and discovered inappropriate language on the part of Judoka towards an employee of the club, contributed to the feeling that the chance of him returning to coach Boston in 2023 is almost non-existent."

This move is not expected to go smoothly, and the reviews in the United States have already begun.

"Already the Nets are a disgrace. Appointing Yudoka will only add to that," wrote Michael Rosenberg in "Sports Illustrated."

"Yudoka is a better coach than Nash, but that's a joke. He may be the least qualified person to create the culture of commitment that the Nets need."

ESPN's Bobby Marks suggests Brooklyn give up Irving and Durant as well

Among other things, Rosenberg expressed concern about the power that Kyrie Irving receives, despite his questionable behavior in the last year: "Brooklyn sends another sign to Kyrie Irving that everything is fine, and we've already seen how he deals with such things. The more power the Nets give him, the worse he behaves. And now Ima Yudoka is supposed to fix this thing? He was even supposed to be suspended this season. But the Nets don't care. They never care."

"The Nets are willing to do anything to fix their basketball problems, no matter what mess it creates along the way," added Sam Aimick of The Athletic.

"There is no end to the chaos in this club. The fact that they want to hire Yudoka so soon after his suspension is a clear sign that the Nets don't believe in these circumstances, or they simply don't care. Apparently, in times of need, they make emergency moves."

Zach Lowe is furious with the Nets' conduct

Mike Workonov, also from the "Athletic", voiced similar things: "It looks bad for the club. The Nets are under the penalty of the Celtics, only a month after he was suspended. This is the same club that gave Irving power after the corona issues, the same club that did not take any action against him after Spreading the false information on social networks, including a link to an anti-Chemical film. They simply invite chaos."
