Around 600 supporters travel to Cologne on Thursday to support Nice on the last day of the group stage of the Europa League Conference, two months after the serious incidents in the first leg, we learned from the Riviera club.

Two hundred of them, from the popular southern stand, will arrive by plane on Thursday morning and will leave directly after the match.

Since Monday, two representatives of the club, including the director of security, have been in Germany to take part in various security meetings to try to avoid any overflow on Thursday evening, which would echo the serious incidents of September 8 (32 injured including a grave).
UEFA then sanctioned Nice with a match behind closed doors, and Cologne with a ban on the movement of its supporters for two games.
For ten days, various security meetings have been held between the two clubs, UEFA and the local police, we say on the Nice side.
The first of them noted the fact that there would be no travel restrictions for the people of Nice, but that the club would provide nominative ticketing.
OGC Nice therefore only authorized, “

If the club has sent stewards to supervise its supporters in the stadium, each Nice supporter has individually received a preventive email from the German authorities, who, for their part, will secure two meeting points.
In the first leg, 8,000 Cologne supporters came to Nice.
More than a hundred of them, hooded, had invaded the Ségurane presidential stand, to do battle violently with the Nice supporters, installed in the southern popular stand.
